Lillian Burch: Executive Director

Because of my relationships with friends and family members with disabilities, I am very committed to the independent living movement philosophy and practice. My responsibilities include the daily administration, management, direction and operation of the disABILITY Resource Center programs, events, services, facilities, and personnel. I enjoy meeting every person who comes to the DRC and watching their progress. In addition, I represent the agency at local, state, and federal levels. Just for fun, I love completing the yearly federal report!

Nicole Craig: Program Director

As Program Director it is my responsibility to implement and coordinate various services at the disABILITY Resource Center. In addition, I assist clients in writing and implementing employment goals as well as provide information and referral, peer support, advocacy, independent living trainings and assist in community education and outreach.

Katherine Moore: Independent Living Specialist

As an Independent Living Specialist, I assist people with disabilities and their families as they face day to day challenges. Being a person with a disability provides me with the understanding of the many aspects of each individual need and knowledge that people with disabilities are capable of reaching their hopes and dreams. What an honor it is to be a part of someone's life as I watch them take each step as they find their pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

Angel Harris: Independent Living Specialist

My job here at DRC as Independent Living Specialist is a very good fit for me. I assist our consumers with goal setting. I engage in peer support in order to help consumers find ways to help themselves meet their goals. I also facilitate workshops and group support meetings in order to help keep our consumers encouraged and on their paths to healthy, productive and independent lives. My job is very rewarding as I get to use my personal experience and skills to assist others.

Sam Moreno: Peer Mentor

One time Ms. Wheelchair Oklahoma, I have found myself on a new page of my personal adventure story. I am currently studying at The University of Tennessee where I will receive my M.S. in Rehabilitation Counseling. With the disABILITY Resource Center, I enjoy the opportunity to work with individuals in a variety of situations. I provide peer support and work on special projects. Matthew Robinson

Matthew Robinson: Disability Advocate

My job as the disability advocate is to assist clients with legal matters including: ADA compliance, ramp building, education, transportation, consumer protection, and legal advocacy. I provide information and referrals for individuals with legal issues, and utilize local services on the client’s behalf. As a law student at The University of Tennessee, I use the training I receive in the classroom to assist clients in real world applications.

Basil Farris: Job Coach/Peer Mentor

As a Job Coach/Peer Mentor I get to know the clients and assist them in finding employment and housing. I build community relationships to further our database of employers as well as housing organizations to help better opportunities for our clients. I coordinate both the employment and housing application days, and lend an ear when necessary.

Kathi Hollander: Office Manager

As Office Manager I am responsible for bookkeeping and other office management duties such as maintenance of office equipment and facilities. In addition I am the Event Coordinator for our Pork Knox Q-Fest which involves marketing to prospective vendors, artists, and volunteers as well as fundraising.

Nicole Anderson: Information and Referral Clerk

My job is unique in that I provide resources and information to callers. I really enjoy my job because it allows me to do what I have wanted to do since college. Having lived with a disability all my life and having to search for resources to assist me, I feel that my unique perspective on the world is a benefit. I also feel like advocacy is an important part of my work in addition to providing resources to our callers.
